An inspiring evening with students from Santa Clara University and San Jose State University celebrating our second annual EPICS Expo in Santa Clara. It was fitting that this event was being held on World Engineering Day – and the projects were truly a fine testament to the power of engineering and innovation to address our most pressing challenges. One of the projects was the Smart Prosthetic hand being developed by an interdisciplinary team of students from Santa Clara University. Special thanks to the IEEE Foundation for their support of the EPICS in IEEE program and all the IEEE volunteer leaders and staff who make this program possible.
