Check out the timeline below to help you get started with your EPICS in IEEE project!

Be Inspired
Check out the EPICS in IEEE past projects and stories to get inspiration for your EPICS in IEEE
2.

Get Started
- Review the EPICS in IEEE Training Course.
- Review the specific Call for Proposals under Get Involved above.
3.

Assemble your team
- Check in with your local IEEE section.
- See if there are IEEE groups on Campus you can work with to support your project.
4.

Select your Community Partner
- Think about the end users of your proposed solution and find an organization that engages with those users.
- Meet with an appropriate community partner before completing your application to discuss the project details.
5.

Prepare your Application
- Be sure to fully answer all the questions in the form.
- A letter from the community partner, as well as an itemized budget, is required.
6.

Submit your Application
- Once you have all the information, you will submit your application in Foundant, the EPICS in IEEE grant management system.
- Included on the page are videos links on how to submit your application through Foundant.
7.

Wait for Results
- The EPICS in IEEE review process can take several months.
- Reviewers or committee members may reach out if they have questions about your project.
8.

Get your project funded
- If your project is approved, you will receive a formal approval email and an acceptance package to complete.
- Depending on the project’s location, the funding is usually distributed within 2-3 months of approval.
