In rural areas of Bolivia, particularly the remote district of Sorata, students and teachers face limited access to robotics programs and educational technologies. This geographic isolation and lack of resources hinder the integration of technology into STEM education.

The Universidad Mayor de San Andrés WIE SB Affinity Group is working to address this challenge by expanding access to robotics education and hands-on technology learning opportunities. The project is designed to be practical and sustainable within local constraints while creating meaningful learning experiences for students and educators.

By increasing exposure to robotics and STEM concepts, the project aims to strengthen technical skills, encourage innovation, and support greater participation in technology-focused education within the community.

This project was made possible by $6,500 in funding from the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS), an EPICS in IEEE partner.
