Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) poses significant challenges for individuals, particularly in maintaining focus and productivity. While there is no cure for ADHD, therapy and medication offer symptom management.
This project from the IEEE Malaysia Section and students from Taylor’s University aims to enhance productivity and attention management for individuals with ADHD. The project proposes state-of-the-art spectacles with innovative features tailor-made for individuals with ADHD.
The primary objective of the project is to leverage innate human tendencies to improve focus. This innovative approach integrates various features, including sound therapy and tinted lenses, to enhance sensory perception. Additionally, the spectacles will also be integrated with a mobile application to control its features and also harness dopamine release and foster a competitive spirit to stimulate interest, thereby increasing productivity.
This project was made possible with a $5,400.00 grant from EPICS in IEEE and the Jon C. Taenzer Memorial Fund.
