COMMUNITY PARTNER: Children's and Youth Creative Activities Center

Ongoing conflict in Ukraine forces schoolchildren to spend significant time in bomb shelters, disrupting education and causing high psychological stress. There is a critical need for portable, engaging, and safe educational devices that can provide learning and play during these times, promoting creativity and reducing stress. The Non-profit Educational Organization “Children’s and Youth Creative Activities Center” is a key partner in addressing this challenge.

The IEEE Ukraine Section is developing and deploying interactive electronic game sets for children in Ukrainian schools. These sets will include a “Quiz button device” for answering questions, a “Collaborative puzzle device” for solving challenges related to shelter surroundings, and simple games like “Snake” and “Sea battle” to reduce stress and develop strategy skills.

This project aims to provide children with engaging tools to foster learning and psychological well-being during wartime.

This project was made possible by $5,100.00 in funding from EPICS in IEEE.
