The current blackboard method of instruction fails to meet the developmental and cognitive capacities required for outcome-based learning, particularly for children with diverse disabilities and those in rural education settings. This challenge affects various age groups and individuals, hindering personalized educational approaches, as observed by community partner Bro. Siga Social Service Guild (BSSSG).
To address this educational gap, Sri Sairam Engineering College, SB, is developing and implementing augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) solutions. These innovative technologies will transform learning experiences, moving beyond traditional methods to provide tailored programs for students in India.
The project aims to enhance educational outcomes by providing engaging and personalized learning environments that cater to individual cognitive needs.
This project was made possible by $6650.00 in funding from The Industry Applications Society, an EPICS in IEEE Partner.
