The Excellent EPICS in IEEE Contributor Awards honor exceptional leadership, mentorship, and service within the EPICS in IEEE community. Through this program, the EPICS in IEEE committee recognizes team leaders, faculty advisors, student branches, societies, universities, and IEEE sections that have gone above and beyond to support EPICS in IEEE projects and the students who lead them. These awards celebrate contributors whose dedication, technical guidance, and commitment to community‑focused engineering embody the mission and values of EPICS in IEEE.

Nominations for Award
Past EPICS in IEEE contributors may nominate themselves or others for this award. The nomination form allows individuals and teams to highlight their accomplishments and impact, with self‑nominations permitted; nominees must be IEEE members to receive the award.
The nomination form will be available in September 2026.

Award Criteria
Nominations will be evaluated on the nominee’s impact on students and community partners, the excellence and visibility of their contributions, and the alignment of their work with the mission and goals of EPICS in IEEE. Reviewers will also consider the overall quality of the project support provided and the completeness of the nomination form.
