EPICS in IEEE is proud to congratulate the 30 teams from 15 countries whose service‑learning project proposals have been selected for funding. Representing universities and communities around the world, each team is partnering with a local community organization to co‑design engineering solutions that address real needs through sustainable, human‑centered innovation. These projects highlight the strength of the IEEE ecosystem, bringing together IEEE Student Branches, Society Chapters, and Affinity Groups—including Women in Engineering and Young Professionals—to empower students as they collaborate with community partners to create meaningful impact.
This year’s funded projects were made possible through the generous support of our IEEE technical societies and philanthropic partners, whose commitment to service learning continues to expand opportunities for students globally. EPICS in IEEE extends sincere appreciation to the Instrumentation and Measurement Society, Industry Applications Society, Robotics and Automation Society, Computational Intelligence Society, the IEEE Standards Association, onsemi Giving Now, and the Jon C. Taenzer Memorial Fund. Their support enables students to design, prototype, and deploy engineering solutions that strengthen communities and advance the mission of IEEE.
